Što UFC borci kažu na odluku svojih poslodavaca da nastave s eventima unatoč korona virusu?

Odgovor smo dobili u petak, kada je predsjednik UFC-a najavio kako "se šou nastavlja". Današnji event u Brasiliji će se odraditi pred praznim tribinama, onaj u Londonu za tjedan dana bi se trebao normalno održati, a naredna dva eventa su preseljena u APEX centar u Las Vegas. No, svi zakazani mečevi i sve zakazane priredbe za sada idu prema planu.

Javnost je podijeljena. Neki vjeruju da UFC tako ugrožava zdravlja svojih zaposlenika, boraca i njihovih timova. Drugi su očekivano oduševljeni jer će ipak moći pratiti mečeve koje iščekuju. Pa makar i ispred praznih tribina.

They closing all these professionals events for the safety of the the fans and the players who already have a set salary. But if the @ufc was to cancel there events the Athletes would NOT get paid a single dime. We only get paid to perform. Let them fight! #UFCBrasilia #ufc

Maybe I'm not the right person to ask but I'm happy ufc is findin ways to keep the fights going. Fighters fight and we need a way to feed our family. As long as health is in concern and we are safe to compete I'm all in. Hope we scoop up sum new fans being the only show in town
